so, yes we actually *are* in the dark ages here...

The Unicameral of the State of Nebraska is actually debating whether or not it should be legal to discriminate against people on the basis of their sexual orientation or marital status.

LB 475 is being debated RIGHT NOW.

Actually, that is not accurate... right now they are debating whether they should set the bill aside permanently without deciding anything about the subject one way or another.

Find your senator
E-mail your Senator

...and let them know you will be holding them accountable for their choices on this bill when election day comes.

Whether you are heterosexual, bisexual, gay or lesbian, married, divorced, separated or single - without this law in place, in the State of Nebraska, it is LEGAL for you to be discriminated against on the basis of your sexual orientation or marital status. If that idea makes you uncomfortable, you should act NOW to let your senator know how you feel.
